I really like these videos. It's a great rundown of many printers and whether they are worth it with how they compare price for what you get with others. Although I did see the V3 SE on there and have to say, I'm not happy with mine. I think I got the runt and I'm looking for a replacement.

I would still take my Mars 4 Ultra over the Mars 5 Ultra…pass Elegoo, I’ll be looking to other brands when it comes time to upgrade.

If the SK1 and P1P were the same price what printer would you go for and why Is it because speed or quality?

No digital calipers? De-burring tool is good, but an X-acto will do the same thing and has more versatility. Files are great for spot-hits, but will not replace sand-paper for larger needs. Needle-nose clippers are awesome. IPA is fine, but the best way to clean the plate is to just take it to the sink and wash with mild soap and hot water, this way you rinse of all the residue instead of smearing it around the plate.

My personal list by price: Ender 3 v3 se $159 , Bambu A1 mini $199, Flashforge AD5M $299, Anycubic Kobra 2 plus $360, Anycubic Kobra 3 combo with multicolor $449. Those are pretty much THE best bang for buck on the market

That foreign object detection would have been handy to have on that last resin printer where you punctured the vat. But this printer looks pretty awesome!

Sounds like you need a quieter fan as well as pwm control for the electronics fan. Looks like a good printer though.

I have zero ventilation where I'm at. Keeps me from materials except PLA, TPU, and PETG. How are you handling venting for resin? Is that still a thing these days? How about the isopropyl wash station? Is it closed in operation? As isopropyl alcohol aerosol is very flammable. Inquiring minds want to know! 😛

Everything was fine until you recommended to buy the ender.

You can't choose a Bambu Labs A1 over a Ender 3 V3 if you have any hope of printing ABS or ASA since they shamelessly restricted the bed temp to pressure you to buy a P1P. An OG Ender 3 prints ABS... they really are the Apple of 3D printers

I heard, the Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra has a lot of the same features of the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra but in a smaller form factor. Would have been sweet if the lid tilted back like its big brother. But overall, I love it.

One of the things that keeps me from using resin printers is getting rid of the used IPA. Last time I was resin printing I would take the used IPA to my local hazardous materials drop off location. How do you handle your used IPA, and anything that has resin on it, such as paper towels, used gloves, etc.?

For me, the post processing and chemicals are the big reason I don't use SLA printers.

Resin for me have always been a warm weather project the past 20 years using it without a printer, just because it is cold from Octomber to April. It' always been an issue about the fumes it put out and no space to vent them. But I have the same issue with spraypaint/spray glosses. The price on this while adding the bed tilt is sooooo nice.

I dont really know anything about resin printers but from this video and others this seems to me an excellent beginners printer and the price...wow!

I had a house fire . lost my five printers, so I'm starting over. I pick up a ender 3 .I liked the no bells and whistles.the other one I picked up is the sidewinder x3 plus. Paid 130.00 and 289.00 for them. They work beautifully. I do helmets and a lot of Halloween stuff. so you don't have to spend a grand on a printer. I am looking to get a resin printer once we are back in the house ,but that is for another day.

I did the Micro Swiss Upgrade on my Neptune 4 Max , So easy and I love Micro Swiss. Now have the Flowtech on my KE, K1 Max and Neptune 4 Max.
